In this space, I share articles, videos, and practical tools to help you gain a deeper understanding of this discipline, learn from the most touching experiences, and inspire your journey toward a more authentic connection with your animal. We begin this journey with a teacher and a great source of inspiration in my own path, Anna Breytenbach, a living example of how deep listening can transform the lives of animals.
The video tells the story of a black leopard named Diablo, rescued from a European zoo who, due to the abuse he had suffered, had become aggressive and terrified of humans.
Yur Olsen, the owner of the park that took him in, was sceptical about animal communication.
When Anna Breytenbach intervened, without knowing the animal’s previous history:
She immediately perceived the leopard’s deep distress and his need for respect.
She revealed that the animal did not like his name, “Diablo” (Devil).
She asked about the two cubs that had been beside him in his previous living situation, a detail Olsen had completely forgotten.
This information, impossible to know through rational means, convinced Olsen of the authenticity of the communication. After changing the leopard’s name to Spirit and expressing gratitude to him, the animal immediately relaxed, radically changing his behaviour and emerging from his shelter for the first time in six months.
This video is tangible proof of how IAC, when practised with ethics and competence, can not only understand but also heal and transform the lives of animals.
