In this space, I share articles, videos, and practical tools to help you fully understand this discipline, learn from the most touching experiences, and inspire your journey toward a more authentic connection with your animal. We begin this journey with a teacher and a source of great inspiration for my own work, Anna Breytenbach , a living example of how deep listening can transform animals' lives.
The video tells the story of a black leopard, Diablo, rescued from a European zoo after being abused and becoming aggressive and terrified of humans.
Yur Olsen, the owner of the park who welcomed him, was skeptical about animal communication.
When Anna Breytenbach intervened, without knowing the animal's previous history:
He immediately sensed the leopard's deep discomfort and his need for respect.
He revealed that the animal did not like his name, "Diablo" (Devil).
He asked about the two puppies that had been next to him in his previous accommodation, a detail Olsen had completely forgotten.
This information, impossible to know rationally, convinced Olsen of the veracity of the message. After changing the leopard's name to Spirit and expressing gratitude, the animal immediately relaxed, radically changing its behavior and emerging from its shelter for the first time in six months.
This video is tangible proof of how CAI, when practiced ethically and competently, can not only understand but also heal and transform the lives of animals.
